Producer/Composer
  About // ︎ // ︎
Alex Krispin is a Venezuelan/American Composer and Producer based in Los Angeles, CA.

During his decade long creative partnership with Daniel Lanois (Brian Eno, U2, Peter Gabriel) he became entrenched in the world of ambient music. This chapter allowed him to create work with some of our most revered visionaries - Emmylou Harris, Neil Young, Feist, Dave Grohl, Mazzy Star, and Brian Blade. Since then, Krispin has dedicated his career to making musical landscapes for film, television, dance, and collaborating with modern artists like Jarina De Marco, Calacote, Reva Devito, Esty and Mediopicky.

Some examples of his recent work include a score for the Roman Coppola - produced ‘The Seven Faces of Jane’ directed by Ryan Heffington and Gillian Jacobs, the score for ‘Multiples’ by Flaminguettes, an ambient composition for Anicka Yi’s TED Talk, the music for ‘Night Sky’ by Martin De Thurah for Glenlivet, and a ‘Baya’, a reggaeton for Starbucks.

Whether scoring for film or creating commercial music for licensing, Krispin’s music transcends genres and borders while representing a multicultural heritage and musical upbringing.
